Retaining an employee who is worthy and an asset for the company is an art by itself. Giving the employee due recognition and credit for his contribution of work is of course most important. At the same time providing him monetary incentives and a proper work atmosphere will definitely boost him up to work even better. Dictator-like attitude between the boss and employee is no longer a trend. Maintaining a healthy and friendly work culture helps to break down barriers and work together toward a common goal. Doing the same work repeatedly might make it monotonous for the employee, so it is best to allow him to diversify and take up challenging work. Finally, keep the communication windows always open for the employee and work upon strategies to preserve such deserving employees.
